The Askan Wi Movement was born in 2022 out of the need for a better Senegal and the conviction that it can exist.
Ours is a Movement that dreams of a modern Senegal, with schools where our children can study, hospitals where our elderly can be effectively cared for free of charge, universities where research is done and innovation created.
We want to achieve a Senegal where there is decent work for all, with Senegalese companies or actors operating in Senegal as entrepreneurs and not as exploiters of people and resources.
We imagine a Senegal that is a beacon in Africa where technological development and innovation are encouraged by the state to make the country prosper.
We demand honest politics by people who look after the interests of the people rather than those of their friends, relatives or financiers.
We dream of a society in which the last are helped in a spirit of solidarity, whether they are people in economic difficulty, disabled people, elderly people or any other marginalised category.
Finally, for all this to become a reality, good governance is essential, and that is precisely what the Askan Wi Movement, with this programme, wants to offer you.
